Please advise your client that the completed appraisal report is the property of the Mortgage Company or other entity that ordered the report. The manner of payment does not affect ownership rights to the Report. We specifically give the undersigned the right to give a copy of the report to the property owner. If they so desire but we consider it a violation of our Code of Ethics to provide a copy to anyone other than our client.
For any payment arrangement other than to collect the full fee at the door, the undersigned specifically Agrees to pay the amount listed under "appraisal fee" above or to assume the responsibility for the payment of the "fee" As the Agent for the Mortgage Company. If the undersigned states that he/she is acting as Agent for the Mortgage Company, then he/she is further stating that the authority to encumber the Mortgage Company has been specifically delegated by and officer of the Company.
An unsigned appraisal order will not be honored.
